Centres and
Grand River Chinese School (GRCS) will offer their
summer
Chinese
language programs during July 2 to July 26, at St. David High School (4
High St., Waterloo, see map),
including
- St. Louis
runs a free
program (2.5 hours 9:00
am - 11:30 am).

runs paid
extension
program to
extend the above free program
to full-day (11:30 am -
5:00 pm for
camp activities and 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
supervision). See

Summer
Chinese
Language
Full-day-extension
Program
This
program transfers students from
the St.
Louis free program without parents being on site
at 11:30 am, and
runs camp activities during
11:30 am to
5:00 pm, also supervises students during 5:00 pm to
5:30 pm
if parents need to pick up child
late.
Eligibility:
children
currently attending JK and to
Grade 8.
Camp
Activities:
Junior
classes: Chinese language, math,
cartoon
in Chinese, painting, craft, singing and
dancing, sports, games,
making Chinese food, Chinese
waist
drum.
Senior
classes: Chinese language, math
for fun,
Chinese history and geography, music, Chinese
cartoons, games,
arts, science, animation and
game programming,
Chinese waist drums.

instruments, optional for grade 1 and above to particiopate in choir practice.

The
full-day extension program
includes camp activities during
11:30 am to 5:00 pm and
supervision during 5:00
pm to 5:30
pm.

Fees:
$36
/ day (i.e. $180 / full week) if attending
5 days
or more, or $40 per day if attending less than 5
days in total. Students
need to bring lunch and two
snacks.
