 The 2008 Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art Contest (NCC) 2008

 

The 2008 Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art Contest (NCC) 2008 is a math contest designed for students of Grades 3 to 9 as a warm-up for the Canadian Math Contests. The contest is named after the Chinese ancient classic book "The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art". The contest was held on Nov. 15th 4:00-5:30pm at 145 Lincoln Road, Waterloo. The following files give further details on the rules, scope and sample questions.

The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art Contest received strong response from the students in KW region, and some from other cities as well. A total of 39 students wrote the contest. The following are the results:
